What We Have Done

No Plastic More Fun

GOAL

We have created Europe’s first network of plastic-free venues through which bars, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs are transforming their habits by turning to more sustainable materials.

Over 100,ooo kg of plastic per year saved!

There are 240 venues where, thanks to us, today there is no more single-use plastic but only fun.

Check out all the venues that are part of the plastic-free network!

The Worldrise team accompanies No Plastic More Fun member institutions on a path toward eliminating single-use plastics by preferring more sustainable solutions, such as reusable materials or compostable tableware.

Let’s have fun without single-use plastic!

Did you know…

80% of plastic in the sea comes from land-based sources?

Plastic ends up in the sea due to illegal dumping, improper disposal, lack of sewage treatment plants, recreational and tourist activities, and professional fishing.

Did you know…

About 8.8 million tons of waste end up in the sea every year?

It is as if, every minute for 365 days, a garbage truck pours its entire contents directly into the sea.

Did you know…

With your daily choices can you make a difference?

From the water bottle to the coffee shop, simple everyday gestures are all it takes to reduce plastic consumption.

Did you know…

Can we reverse this course through awareness?

By choosing one of the No Plastic More Fun clubs, bars, restaurants and discos that contribute to the well-being of our Blue Planet, you help us make a difference.

In 2019, we launched the No Plastic More Fun project with the Blue Night in Milan

Involving many of Milan’s nightlife venues, in a single evening, 25,000 glasses, 10,000 straws and 8,000 bottles were replaced with more sustainable materials.
