Scario Beach – Malfa (ME)

In the heart of the Tyrrhenian Sea, among the Mediterranean waters of northern Sicily, emerges a World Heritage archipelago: the Aeolian Islands. They are seven sister islands that, by virtue of their unique geological, biological and cultural characteristics, represent a true treasure of the Mediterranean Sea, to be preserved and enhanced.

It is precisely in this extraordinary place and, in particular, on the island of Salina, in the municipality of Malfa at the Scario beach, that a new Local Marine Education Area – SEATY was born.

HOW TO GET THERE

Participate in a sea of free activities!

In and out of the water, numerous activities await you to discover the wonders of the sea: from snorkeling accompanied by a marine biologist to sunset yoga, in-depth talks and events.

Choose the activity you would like to join and register for free:

Every day (except Tuesday afternoons), at 10:30 am and 3:00 pm, you can enjoy a free snorkelling experience accompanied by marine biologists from Worldrise, discovering the biodiversity of SEATY Salina up close.

AUGUST 6 – The fourth event in the series of talks with Simone Di Mauro, veterinarian from the island of Salina and expert in dogs, cats, and exotic animals. He will guide us on a journey to discover some of the most fascinating and surprising species of our seas and beyond. The next appointment will take place on Thursday, 6 August, at Hotel Punta Scario, at 7:30 PM.

AUGUST 20 – An immersive sound journey through the vibrations of the sea, inviting you to slow down, reconnect with your inner self, and rediscover your connection with the element of water.

From July to September, we invite you to explore the waters of the Aeolian Islands after sunset with a free night snorkelling experience, accompanied by SEATY Salina’s marine biologists, Diana and Emanuela.
