Your passion for the sea, forever
Whether large or small, the bequest you wish to make to Worldrise will help achieve great goals and pass on our values and the importance of the ocean to future generations. Through a solidarity testament, you can decide to donate part of your bequest to third sector entities, associations and nonprofit organizations, such as Worldrise. All bequests and donations made to these legally recognized entities are exempt from taxes and fees.
What can you leave behind?
CAPITAL Sums of money, deposits or investments.. Children, spouse, and parents (in the absence of children) are by law entitled to specific shares of the estate. A person making a will always has the option to freely dispose of the testate portion of the estate, called the “available share.” You can donate by will sums of money, deposits or investments that Worldrise will use to support ocean defense projects.
FURNITURE GOODS Jewelry, paintings or furniture. You can donate by will movable assets that Worldrise will sell at the best realizable price to support our ocean defense projects.
REAL ESTATE ASSETS Dwellings, land and business premises You can donate by will real estate that Worldrise will provide for sale at the best realizable price to support our projects in defense of the ocean.
SEVERANCE PAY Severance pay owed to an employee by his or her employer is part of the estate and in the absence of a spouse, children or relatives within the third degree can be donated to charities, associations and organizations, such as Worldrise. The capital will be used to support our ocean defense projects.
Public testament
It is drawn up before a notary public, offers greater assurance that it actually came from the testator, and is more secure in its preservation. It takes place in the presence of two witnesses and must be put in writing by the same notary, must state place, date of receipt and time of signing, and must be signed by the notary, witnesses and the testator.
Holographic testament
It is the simplest, on any sheet of paper, it must be written in the testator’s own hand, the date of writing must be indicated on it, and it must be signed by the testator in his or her own hand in full by the testator’s first and last name.

Have you ever thought of donating a scholarship to a young marine scientist?
Worldrise strongly believes that in order to create a better future for our Blue Planet, it is necessary to invest in the education and training of the next generation of guardians of the sea.
Through our Marine Protected Areas Campus, undergraduate and recent graduate students have the opportunity to acquire practical skills to complement their academic knowledge, which are essential to begin their journey of protecting the sea.
By donating a scholarship you support the practical-professional training of aǝ scientistǝ of the sea and contribute to the conservation of Italy’s underwater natural heritage.

Thanks to donations, we are able to carry out numerous activities through which we facilitate positive change that (re)connects people to the sea, creates awareness about the importance of the ocean, and results in collective commitment to its preservation. We protect biodiversity by creating local marine conservation areas and amplify the action of Marine Protected Areas, use art as a powerful communication tool, and mobilize future custodians of the Mediterranean’s natural heritage. Through our projects and thanks to our supporters, we promote the effective protection of at least 30 percent of Italy’s seas by 2030. goccia conta!
Worldrise believes in transparency
With us, every donation turns into concrete action! Regular support allows us to plan and design our activities over the long term, giving us the ability to act quickly and implement all our ideas. Each year we account for our actions in the social budget, so you can see for yourself what we do for the ocean and enable us to continue to protect it.
Worldrise has been recognized by CAF International, which guarantees that all funds sent to the organization will be used for charitable purposes.
• Deduct from gross tax 30% (no longer 26%) of the amount donated, up to a maximum disbursement of 30,000 euros annually; • Deduct from the total net income cash donations in an amount not exceeding 10% of the total declared income (no longer the ceiling of 70,000 euros annually).
